PURPOSE:To reliably arrange paper sheets in a short time by setting the lower corner portion of several tens of paper sheets on the corner portion of a plate main body, setting and pushing down a paper arranging member on the upper corner portion of paper sheets, and vibrating the main body. CONSTITUTION:A stack of paper sheets A is set on a plate main body 2 of a tray 1, and the adjacent two sides A1, A2 are brought into contact with a pair of guides 3 to set the lower corner portion A' of the paper sheets A on the lower corner portion 4 of the main body 2. Subsequently, a paper arranging member 8 is set on the upper corner portion A'' of the paper sheets A, and a pair of pressing plates 9 are brought into contact with the adjacent two sides A3, A4. In such a condition, a vibration source 7 is driven so that a vibration is applied to the cassette 1 through a support rod 5 by a vibrating portion 7a, and the paper sheets A are vibrated, with the upper corner portion A'' thereof pressed down by the paper arranging member 8, so that the paper sheets A are pushed down to the lower corner portion A. Thus, several tens of paper sheets can be correctly arranged in a short time. |
