PURPOSE:A hair cosmetic that contains a mono-N-long-chain-acyl basic aminoacid lower alkyl ester salt and a fatty acid-polypeptide condensate, thus making hair moist, improving brushing properties, lessening tackiness to facilitate hair- doing. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic such as hair rinse, hair conditioner or hair lotion contains (A) 0.2-5wt% of mono-N-long-chain-acyl basic aminoacid lower ester salt and (B) a condensate between a fatty acid and polypeptide. As the basic aminoacid component in component A, is cited a naturally occurring aminoacid such as ornithine, lysine or alginine as well as synthetic aminoacids such as alpha,beta-diaminobutyric acid; as the acyl group, can be used the residue of 8-22C fatty acids and as the salt, is preferred hydrochloride or pyrrolidone- carboxy latesalt. The component B is a condensate between a fatty acid of 8- 20 carbon atoms and a protein hydrolyzate (polypeptide) of molecular weight of 200-2,000. |
