PURPOSE:To obtain a flexible waveguide whose reflecting loss is reduced by coating a hollow face and end parts or the like of a base tube made of a resin with a metallic layer and sealing a coil spring preventing deformation due to buckling of a wall face at the bending of the base tube. CONSTITUTION:The waveguide 2 is constituted by forming integrally the base tube 4 with a resin having an excellent elasticity such as nylon, polytrifluoroethylene or the like together with a coil spring 6 and providing a metallic layer 5 coated with a metal rich in a malleability such as copper, gold or the like to required parts such as the inside and end parts of the base tube 4. Further, a flange 1 is fixed by a low temperature solder, a conductive adhesives or the like. The coil spring 6 is sealed in the base tube 4 along the waveguide direction and maintains the smooth waveguide by preventing deformation due to buckling on the wall face at the bending of the base tube 4. |
