AUDITORY PROTECTION APPARATUS AGAINST SUDDEN OVERNORMAL SOUND VOLUMES

An auditory protection apparatus for individual acoustical insulation against sudden overnormal sound volumes, particularly gun shots and other discontinuous sound perturbations affecting the hearing, is provided with a conventional anti noise headphones. The conversations taking place normally in an environment subjected to a continuous noise may be continued owing to an integrated telephone which is connected to a signal emitting microphone. The auditory protection apparatus is further provided with an electronic noise suppression unit which suppresses only for a short time an amplification of a sudden overnormal sound perturbation at the most during the audible time period; the noise suppression unit is provided, not taking into acount the telephone, above the headphone and has a control button on its side.
