PURPOSE:To obtain a permanent magnet having a high magnetic characteristic by melting and casting an Fe-Cr-Fe alloy contg. a small amt. of >=1 kind among Si, Ti, V then subjecting the same to a primary again treatment followed by holding for a specified time at the temp. lower than the primary aging temp. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet alloy incorporated with 0.1-5wt% 1 kind among Si, Ti, V in an Fe alloy contg. 20-35wt% Cr and 5-30wt% Co is melted and cast. The iron alloy after the casting is hot and cold worked if necessary and is subjected to an isothermal primary aging treatment in a magnetic field after a soln. heat treatment and is then held for a specified time in the magnetic field kept at a specified low temp. of 550-700 deg.C. The difference in the concns, of alpha1, alpha2 in the transformation in separating to two phases (alpha alpha1+alpha2) is expanded in said iron alloy, and the transfer to the transformation in separating to two phases from the alpha1 phase in the stage of the secondary aging treatment is suppressed. An Fe-Cr-Co permanent magnet having a high magnetic characteristic is obtd. |
