1. A steam-driven two-stroke maritime engine obtained by transforming an engine of the four-stroke explosion type, comprising steam distribution means (1, 2) connected between a boiler and the individual intake ducts (7) of said engine so as to admit the vapor to the intake valves and a shaft with double cams, the two-stroke steam-driven engine being characterized by the fact that the conventional intake valves of the engine of the four-stroke explosion type are replaced by two perforated cylinders sliding axially with respect to each other, one (3) of the cylinders replacing the valve head and the other (4) which is fixed being fixed in the cylinder head. |
