PURPOSE:To enable to maintain gas purity in a rotary electric machine by a simple operation by exhausting gas in the machine through an oiler when a vacuum pump is defective and automatically supplying hydrogen gas. CONSTITUTION:An oiler 12 is connected to air side spaces Q, Q' of hydrogen separators 3, 3' in a shaft oil sealer through exhaust gas amount regulating valves 10, 10' and stop valves 11, 11', respectively. When a vacuum pump 9 is stopped, the gas in a rotary electric machine is exhausted through an oiler 12 out of room by opening the valves 11, 11'. Thus, the gas pressure in the machine temporarily decreases, but hydrogen has having high purity is automatically supplied into the machine through a gas supply pipe system E from a gas supply unit, thereby preventing the gas purity in the machine from decreasing. |
