<p>Process comprises mixing solns. of organic and/or inorganic salts with the cations Pb(2+), La(3+), Zr(4+), to give a single soln. for addn. of a pptn. agent. The sequential pptn. of the cations as hydroxides is accompanied by stir-ng of the mixt. to give an amorphous material which is sepd. by filtration and washing. - The material is then ground and preburned at 500-550 deg.C, for subsequent wet homogenising, drying and extrusion prior to sintering at 1150-1250 deg.C.</p> |
