A process for measuring the level of liquid in a vehicle tank which is subject to random movements while moving, the process comprising detecting at each moment the level of liquid of an analog level gauge, characterised in that the instantaneous levels detected by the gauge are used to form a plurality of average values in dependence on the distance covered by the vehicle and that the definitive result of the measurement of the level of liquid is determined on the basis of said average values.</p> |
