The invention relates to the manufacture of lightweight shelters, such as bowers or garden sheds. Triangulation bars 7 are joined together by grooved assembling connections 1. Each grooved connection 1 comprises housings 3 whose longitudinal geometric axis 4 makes an angle other than 90 DEG with the principal axis 5 of the grooved connection 1. Each triangulation bar 7 is thus set in bending when its ends are engaged in two grooved connections 1.
