<p>The invention relates to the heel retainer of a ski binding, in which a vertically pivotable sole retainer is held in the skiing position by a locking lever. The purpose of the invention is to design such a heel retainer in such a manner that it can be opened, optionally with the aid of a conventional release lever, against the force of the release spring, but especially by means of another actuating component, with reduced expenditure of force. To this end, provision is made for the locking lever to be assigned a displaceable or pivotable locking part which, by means of a latching part, can be fixed in the skiing position relative to the locking lever, the latching part being moveable at will into a position which releases the locking part. As a result of the release of the locking part, the locking lever is also released.</p> |
