PURPOSE:To improve the exhaust gas purification and the economical efficiency of fuel by providing a means to stop the closed-loop control of the air-fuel ratio and a means to increase the air-fuel ratio than the theoretical air-fuel ratio in an economic operation area of fuel. CONSTITUTION:The voltage of a detecting means to detect components in the exhaust gas is inputted through a terminal 28 and is converted into digital data by an A-D converter 24. A logic circuit section 36 outputs a correction signal to a fuel flow control means. Calculation and correction is performed by a temperature signal inputted through a terminal 29. In an economical operation area of fuel, the closed-loop control of the air-fuel ratio is stopped and the air- fuel ratio is increased than the theoretical air-fuel ratio. Accordingly, compatibility of the air-fuel ratio is improved over a wide operation range, thereby the exhaust gas purification and the economical efficiency of fuel can be improved. |
