PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a controller, by selecting only one of the signals, controlling the upper limit or lower limit of a fuel injection amount, to be used in accordance with an accelerator opening. CONSTITUTION:A signal controlling the upper limit of a fuel injection amount is generated in step 106. A signal controlling the lower limit of the fuel injection amount is generated in step 102. Recognizing the accelerator opening in steps 101, 104, any one of the steps, such as lower limit control of the step 102, upper limit control of the step 106 and upper and lower limit control stop of a step 105, is selected. In this way, the constitution of a controller can be simplified. |
