Asymmetrical high-vacuum collector

In a solar high-vacuum collector for heating a fluid which is conducted through it, the fluid-bearing pipe is connected, on the side of the outlet of the fluid, to a greater absorber surface than on the inlet side. The boiling of the fluid, which as a result takes place earlier on one side during irradiation, determines the direction of flow of the fluid in installations which work without a circulating pump and without thermo-syphon effect.
