Bipolar coagulation instrument

A bipolar coagulation instrument has, embedded in a holder, two parallel electrodes which are secured in the holder against rotation and against longitudinal displacements. At the working tips the electrodes are bent so that these tips can be easily seen by the operator despite the holder situated behind them. When a pressure is exerted on the instrument both in the longitudinal direction of the electrodes and in the direction of rotation, these bends result in forces which are absorbed by the abovementioned anchoring. A design for a micro-instrument is also possible with the aid of an extension.
