PURPOSE:To increase a processing speed while performing easy-to-see printing with aligned decimal-point, by starting the printing of an integer part when the input of a decimal-point key is entered. CONSTITUTION:First, a numeric key K8 is pushed and a control key KD is then pushed. As a result, an 8 is stored in the latch L in a CPU and the point position of a decimal point is set at the 8th digit from the left margin of a printing form P. With a numeric key K1 pushed, a 1 is stored in a register KR and with a K2 depressed, a 2 is also stored in the KR to display a 12 on a display device DSP. Simultaneously, the frequency 2 of the depression of numeric keys is stored in a counter C. When a decimal-point key KP is pushed, the CPU substracts the numeral 2 in the 6th digit from the left margin to start printing operation. During the printing operation, numerals 3 and 4 following the decimal point may be inputted. |
