PURPOSE:To obtain a toner high in conductivity and low in softening point, improved in fixability, and suitable for pressing roll transfer by incorporating a conductive carbon black specified in each of particle diameter, surface area, and oil adsorptivity. CONSTITUTION:A conductive carbon black having 10-50mum particle diameter, <=200m<2>/g surface area measured by the N2 adsorption method, and 100-200cc/ 100g dibutyl phthalate adsorptivity is used for a magnetic toner used for an electrostatic charge image, and it is incorporated in a binder resin made of polyester or the like by 2-30wt%, and further, a magnetic material is added to obtain a magnetic toner for use in a one-component type developer. A toner conductivity is enhanced to 10<-4>-10<-12>ohm/cm in a DC 1,000V electric field by using such a conductive carbon black, image density is improved, and since softening point is low, fixability is good. Suct a toner is suitable for an electrostatic recording or electrophotography, etc. using a pressing transfer process. |
