<p>PURPOSE:To have sure feeding of the uppermost lying sheet by a simple construction and provide a certain sending-back of the subsequent sheet by incorporating such a construction that brakes can be applied to a pickup roller supported by a swingable support arm. CONSTITUTION:Through a one-way clutch, a feed roller 2 is fitted at the end part of a drive shaft 1 to be rotated by any drive motive in the direction as shown by the arrow, and one end of a support arm 4 is fitted on this shaft 1 through a bearing. At the other end of this support arm 4 is fixed a short shaft 22, with which a gear 7 is fitted rotatably, and a pickup roller 21 is fitted on the pipe shaft part 7a of this gear through one-way clutch 23. This roller 21 is rotated by drive shaft 1 through a train of gears 9, 10, 7. A spring receptacle 25 with an E-ring 24 for slip-off prevention is fitted firmly at the tip of said shoft shaft 22, and a braking means consisting of a spring 26 and friction pad 27 is interposed between this spring receptacle 25 and the end face of roller 22.</p> |
