PURPOSE:To prevent a work from being rusted, by jetting gas to the machined section of the work after completion of wire-cut spark erosion machining, to dry the machined section. CONSTITUTION:A wire-cut spark erosion machine is provided with a gas jet nozzle 6 together with a working liquid jet nozzle 3. A work 2 is machined by a wire electrode 1, and after completion of machining, gas is jetted from the gas jet nozzle 6 to the periphery of the machined section of the work, following the stopping of supply of working liquid. In this condition, the work is reversely moved in its machining path to dry its machined section. |
