PURPOSE:To prevent damage to a VTR and an adaptor main body in advance by providing a detecting means to plural parts of a VTR storage section and permitting up/down movement of the VTR storage section when all of the detecting means are operated or not operated so as to inhibit the up/down movement of the VTR storage section while the VTR is not correctly stored to the storage section. CONSTITUTION:Microswitches 11, 12 as detecting means operated in interlocking with a stored VTR 2 are installed to, e.g., two parts as bottom face and side face of the VTR storage section 3. The storage section 3 is moved up and down by a motor driven mechanism in this example, and only when both switches 11, 12 are turned on or off, electricity can be conducted. If the storage is incomplete, only one of the switches is turned on in most cases and even if a backet descending button 9 is depressed, the storage section 3 does not fall down. When the VTR is stored correctly, or not stored, the switches 11, 12 are both turned on or off, the up/down movement of the storage section 3 is attained by the operation of the buttons 8, 9. |
