PURPOSE:To perform switching which does not cause any disturbance of picture when plural VTRs are continuously operated with a simple constitution, by comparing the reproduced signals of the address signals of the end part of the 1st video tape and the start part of the 2nd video tape with each other and controlling the running speed of the 2nd video tape. CONSTITUTION:Reproduced video signals from the 1st and 2nd VTRs are supplied to the 1st and 2nd video signal input terminals 3 and 4, respectively, and address signals A and B recorded in a vertical blanking period are extracted by address signal gate circuits 5a and 5b, respectively and compared with each other at a substractor circuit 11. When a difference exists between the address signals A and B, the rotational speed of a motor 14b which determines the running speed of the video tape 2 of the 2nd VTR 14 controlled so that the address signals A and B become equal to each other and, when both the signals A and B become equal, a switching signal forming circuit 16 generates a switching signal and connects the contact 17c of a switching circuit 17 to another contact 17b at a timing in the vertical blanking period, the reproduced video signal from the 2nd VTR is supplied to a video projector through the switching circuit 17 and continuous operation of VTRs is performed. |
