PURPOSE:To independently and easily perform azimuth and tilt adjusting works, by inserting an inserting member between a supporting substrate and head fitting plate, installing a tilt adjusting screw behind a head, and changing the compressing rate of the inserting member by means of the tilt adjusting screw. CONSTITUTION:When an azimuth adjusting screw 25 is rotated, the clearance between a supporting substrate 3 and the end part of the other piece of an inserting member 21 changes and a head fitting plate 11 changes the inclination with the line connecting the contacting section of a supporting projected part 15 and the screwed part of a tilt adjusting screw as an axis and, therefore, the azimuth of a head 10 changes. When the tilt adjusting screw 24 is rotated, the compressing rate of the inserting member 21 changes. By this arrangement, the other piece of the inserting member 21 and head fitting plate 11 change their interval while an almost parallel condition is maintained. Therefore, the head fitting plate 11 changes the inclination with a line parallel to a tape contacting surface 10A passing through the contacting section of the supporting projected part 15 and tilt adjustment of the head 10 is performed. |
