SURFACE ACOUSTIC WAVE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain a surface acoustic wave excellent in the frequency characteristic by arranging >=2 additional electrodes arranged at an end of a converter adjacent to electrode fingers at the end. CONSTITUTION:The receiver 1 at the receiving side is conventional one and the middle and the left side of the converter 5 at the receiving side is the same as a conventional converter, two electrode fingers 8 are projected from the input electrodes and two electrode fingers 8' are projected to a counter position from a ground electrode. The electrode fingers 8 are equal in the length as that of the left electrode finger 7 and arranged in equal interval. The electrode fingers 8' are equal in the length to that of the two left electrode fingers 3 and arranged in equal interval. Thus, spurious waves due to edge effect or the like produced conventionally are reduced and the generation of ripples having a short frequency is reduced.
