The invention relates to a ceiling or wall connection socket for a lighting body, consisting of a base part and a cover part, which can be connected thereto, and of a connection which electrically short-circuits the base part to the cover part. The invention is based on the object of specifying a ceiling or wall connection socket which, with simple means, provides a reliable and permanent electrical connection between the base part and the cover part. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the electrical connection is constructed as a screw which can be screwed into the cover part and is supported on the base part, in that the screw has, on its end, at least one edge which runs from the screw circumferential surface to the screw axis and is formed by two oblique surfaces, which abut against one another at an angle and are inclined at different angles with respect to the cross-section surface, and in that the oblique surface lying counter to the screwing-in direction has a greater angle with respect to the cross-section surface than the other oblique surface, so that the torque required to release the screw is at least 0.6 times the magnitude of the tightening torque.
