Process for the preparation of human transfer factor products
摘要
The invention relates to a process for the preparation of human transfer factor preparations from peripheral blood leucocytes from healthy unselected blood donors, the resulting products being distinguished by a uniform composition and a high immunological activity in the stimulation of the cellular immune system. Used as starting material for this is the buffy coat which is produced as unwanted and unused blood components in other whole-blood fractionation processes, so that this process can be incorporated in the existing tasks of the blood donation and transfusion service without aiming at exclusive maximum isolation of leucocytes. This incorporation in fractionation processes which are already practised means that initial pool sizes of 500 to 1000 blood donors are reached and thus a uniform product which is standardised in its immunological in vitro activity and which complies with the strict criteria of drugs legislation and thus provides favourable conditions for long-term therapy of immune diseases is obtained.
