PURPOSE:To increase the number of paper sheets which can be contained and to prevent any paper jam effectively, by a method wherein a bin, located right above a bin in which paper sheets are going to be fed, is rotated to move upward and the paper sheets are fed in the bin under a condition in which a containing space is enlarged. CONSTITUTION:With a solenoid 15 starting to be electrically powered, the forward end of a bin supporting claw 20 is inserted through a hole 19 in an elevating member 18 and is positioned below the end of a bin, solenoids 34 start to be charged with electric power, and the elevating member 18 is raised through the rotating force of a cam 26. As the elevating member is raised, the bin supporting claw 20 is also raised, the bin supporting claw 20, having its forward end positioned below the side of the bin, is rotated to move upward at its end on the side, opposite to the side where paper sheets are fed in, of the bin centering around the end, on the side where the paper sheets are fed in, of the bin. The containing space, into which paper sheets are guided by a bin switching member 9, of the bin is enlarged, and even when any paper sheet folded by a paper folding device, fed in the bin in a condition to be headed by the folded part, the number of paper sheets, which can be contained, can be increased, and any paper jam may be effectively prevented. |
