PURPOSE:To enable easy and sure exchange of a filter cloth, etc. by turning a movable arm, of which the support end is supported freely rotatably by a stationary member and the free end supports freely rotatably a drum, thereby moving the drum from an operating position by a prescribed distance. CONSTITUTION:A drum 1 is supported in the position where sludge is pressed between the same and a belt 20 in the stage of operating a drum type belt press. No oil pressure is impressed to a hydraulic cylinder 5 and an operating shaft 6 is kept pulled down in this stage. The drum 1 is driven to rotate by a motor 21, and the sludge between the drum and the belt 20 moving together with the drum is pressed by a hydraulic unit driven upward by a hydraulic cylinder 10, by which the sludge is continuously dehydratred. The shaft 6 is extended upward by the cylinder 5 in the stage of exchanging the filter cloth spread around the drum 1 and a cake stripping rope 28. A movable arm is then turned clockwise around a revolving shaft 4 to lift and move upward the drum 1. |
