PURPOSE:To permit the disc of a rotor disc to be burnishing-worked up to the root part by means of a simple construction in which a pair of roller supporting shafts and a pair of burnishing rollers arranged at the top edge of the respective supporting shafts. CONSTITUTION:In a burnishing work apparatus for the disc surface of a rotor disc 7 used in the disc brake of a car, the rotor disc 7 is revolved at a fixed position. Then, a slide table 11 is retreated rearward by a slide mechanism, keeping a cylinder apparatus 18 in immovable state. Therefore, the both surfaces of the disc 7b are gradually burnishing-worked outwardly in the radial direction from the root part by the burnishing rollers 25 and 25. When the burnishing rollers 25 and 25 are departed outwardly from the outer peripheral edge of the disc 7b, burnishing work is completed. |
