摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of a brazing filler foil used, prevent the brazing filler foil from being insufficiently supplied and securely joint component parts integrally, by a method wherein a plurality of heat-exchanging elements are stacked by engaging rising flanges provided at peripheral edges of openings of upper and lower plates, while the brazing filler foils are placed between inside walls of the plates and corrugated plate fins, and then brazing is conducted in a furnace. CONSTITUTION:Tubes 24 are formed by the upper and lower plates 22, 23, the corrugated plate fins 25 are provided in the interior of the tubes, the brazing filler foils 36, 37 are placed between both sides of the fins 25 and the inside walls of the plates 22, 23, and the peripheries of the plates 22, 23 are calked to produce the heat-exchanging element 21. In this case, the brazing filler foils 36, 37 are placed over the entire surface of the inside walls of the plates 22, 23, excluding the openings 26, 27 of the plates 22, 23. Then, a plurality of the thus produced heat-exchanging elements 21 are stacked. Simultaneously, the uppermost and lowermost heat-exchanging elements 21, 21 are provided respectively with fitting flanges 34 and closing plates 35 through a brazing filler material. Further, the thus assembled heat exchanger is placed in a brazing furnace, and brazing is conducted by heating.
