PURPOSE:To reduce noises transiently appearing on a regenerative screen at its minimum as possible by discriminating whether the picture No. of a track to be driven and fixed is correctly decoded or not by a discriminating means and adjusting the driving timing in accordance with the probability to be correctly decoded. CONSTITUTION:If a signal detecting part 2 generates a locked group phenomenon reproducing the same track repeatedly due to the defect of the disc during the reproducing of the disc, a picture No. discriminating part 5 can excite a driving part 7 and discharge a signal detecting part 2 forcedly from a disc defect part (release of the locked group) because the update of the No. is not permitted. Thus, the discriminating part 5 discriminates whether the picture No. of the track to be moved is correctly decoded or not by a decoding part 4 after driving without setting up the driving part of the signal detecting part 2 fixedly and the discriminating part 5 controls a driving position determining part 6 so that the correctly decoded probability is maximized, so that the driving position of the signal detecting part 2 is variably controlled. |
