PURPOSE:To obtain simply a color proofing sheet having high final image intensity by providing photopolymerizability to an image receiving layer and subjecting the layer to exposure enough to cause photopolymn. to the layer after transfer. CONSTITUTION:A photopolymerizable image receiving layer is composed of a multifunctional vinyl or vinylidene compound capable of forming a polymer by addition polymn., an org. polymer binder, and a photopolymn. initiator which is activated by active light. A thermal polymn. inhibitor may be further contained in the layer. The image receiving layer is subjected to exposure enough to cause photopolymn. to the layer after transfer. When the layer is transferred to art paper and exposed, the surface adhesion is almost lost, and the scratch resistance is remarkably improved. Blocking between the image receiving layer and the art paper is also improved, and many sheets of art paper after transfer can be stored in a superposed state without exerting any unfavorable influence. |
