A slatted blind for openings in walls, in particular for trapezoidal windows, is proposed, the upper frame side (15) of which runs obliquely in relation to the horizontal. The slats (25, 28 to 31) of the blind are held in cord ladders and can be gathered by pull cables (17, 18) fastened on a horizontal end strip. All the slats (25, 28 to 31) are, corresponding to the oblique, upper frame side (15), lkikewise arranged obliquely and additionally essentially parallel. Some of the slats (28 to 31) have a shorter length than the remaining slats (25) arranged above them. One of the two pull cables (17, 18) is designed with adjustable cable length. The slats (28 to 31) of shorter length are arranged in the region of the lower end strip and at the same time immediately adjacent with in each case one of their ends to this end strip and connected to the end strip. The blind consists of marketable individual parts. It is exceptionally cheap to manufacture and simple in construction and function. In the lowered state and in the covering state, it allows a virtually complete covering of oblique windows, e.g. of gable windows, the blind affording in this state both an optically and a creatively attractive appearance. In the raised state, the blind exposes almost the entire window surface. <IMAGE> |
