<p>The apparatus consists of an output roller driven by a main driving device, a first area of carding wire fixed against displacement with respect to the card frame, and an entry roller which feeds a second displaceable area of carding wire; elements to force entry roller towards the wire surface and tranducer elements, which include a movement detector to give a control signal indicating the magnitude of the displacement of entry roller; a speed regulator, a programme controller; speed control elements and driving devices which connect the outlet to the speed regulator and to the driven entry roller.</p> |
