PURPOSE:To rigidly adhere an ink and accurately fix the ink in accordance with data, by applying a heat-fusible binder to a recording paper prior to printing. CONSTITUTION:A recording paper 3 and a transfer paper 2 are fed between a platen roller 5 and a thermal head 4, and a heat-fusible ink applied to the transfer paper 2 is melted by the heat of the head 4, and is transferred onto the paper 3. In this case, a binder, for example, one having a melting point lower than that of the heat-fusible ink is previously applied to a heat-fusible ink receiving surface of the paper 3, whereby adhesion of the ink becomes strong, and accurate heat-sensitive transfer printing is conducted. |
