PURPOSE:To prevent powdering of a fine granular raw material and to obtain stably a target flux compsn. in the stage of producing a fused flux for welding by granulating, drying and dissolving beforehand the fine granular raw material with an org. or inorg. binder. CONSTITUTION:A fine granular raw material contg. >=30% underside of 74 microns opening is beforehand granulated, dried and dissolved by an org. binder as exampled by a dextrin soln., alginic acid soln., etc. or an inorg. binder as exampled by water glass such as sodium silicate, potassium silicate or the like as a binder in the stage of using a raw material contg. said fine granular raw material and producing a fused flux for welding. The amt. of the powder dust to be produced during the dissolving operation is thus decreased and the flux compsn. satisfying thoroughly the target value is obtd. |
