PURPOSE:To adjust smoothly the inclination of a rotary metal flask, which is inserted with a charging trough upon traveling of a carriage on a downgrade path in the direction of the trough, with a driving device having a relatively small capacity by making one end of said metal flask movable upward and downward with the other end thereof as a fulcrum. CONSTITUTION:A bed 3 which is supported at right and left ends by the bracket 22 and cylinder device 23 of an inclination adjusting device 21 is positioned level, and a rotary metal flask 2 is carried thereon. A core is inserted in the metal flask. The device 23 is operated to incline the flask 2 in conformity with the inclination of a charging trough 10 and a charging carriage 8 on a rail 6 is run to insert the trough 10 into the flash 2. The flask 2 is then rotated at a high speed and the molten metal running in the trough 10 is supplied from the left to right side by the movement of the carriage 8, whereby a pipe 14 is centrifugally cast. The flask 2 is returned again to the horizontal position on nearing the end period of the charging so that the axial centers of the flask 2 and an extraction device 13 are made coincident in a horizontal direction, then the core and the pipe 14 are extracted successively. |
