PURPOSE:To improve production efficiency and to lessen the loss of a belt-like plain weave wire net which is cut zigzag by blanking said wire net to a square shape along the cutting line and drawing the central part thereof. CONSTITUTION:The intermediate part in the width of a belt-like plain weave wire net 1 consisting of vertical wires 1a and horizontal wires 1b is cut zigzag to form two wire net pieces 2. The pieces 2 are blanked to form many blanked pieces 5 of the wire net each having a square shape including each crest part 4 at a zigzag side edge 3, so that the wire 1a and the wire 1b form two diagonal lines. While the peripheral edge part of the piece 5 is pressed, the central part is drawn, whereby a tapered product 6 is formed. |
