POWER TRANSMISSION MECHANISM IN INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE TESTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To easily and certainly connect an output shaft and the main shaft of an internal-combustion engine without slippage, by such a simple constitution that the ring gear provided to the main shaft of the internal-combustion engine and the engagement part of a swing lever cooperated with an electromotively driven flange are engaged with each other. CONSTITUTION:When a cylinder apparatus 13 is extended to move a motor 12 left, the front end of a slide body 30 is contacted with the main shaft 26 of an internal-combustion engine. When said apparatus 13 is further extended, a longitudinal shaft 28 is moved left with respect to the slide body 30 and a flange plate 29 and a disc plate 20 is co-operatively moved while pushing a spring 31. In this case, a swing lever 34 revolved in cooperation with the flange plate 29 is swung to engage the ring gear 25 of the shaft 26 with the engagement part 36 of the lever 34 and the shaft 14 of the motor 12 and the shaft 26 are connected without slippage through the flange plate 29. By this mechanism, the output shaft and the main shaft of the internal-combustion engine can be easily connected without slippage by a simple constitution.
