PURPOSE:To eliminate provision of claws which prevent floating seals from getting out of place and thereby to facilitate processing of the cases, by employing, at the time of the assembly work, sheet members, cut from a sheet member diametrically into two sheets, for controlling positioning of the cases and the floating seals associated with respective cases. CONSTITUTION:A floating seal 8, together with one ring member 6, is placed along a tapered surface 4 formed on the interior of the upper portion of a fixed case 1. Then, a sheet members 12, cut from a circular sheet member diametrically into two semicircular sheet members, are placed on the top surface of the ring member 6. On the sheet members 12, the other ring member 7 with a floating seal 9 put around the same is placed in axial alignment. Finally, a rotating case 2', with an opening, tapered surface 5 provided on the interior of the bottom portion thereof, is placed from above the ring member 7 and the floating seal 9 to fit thereon. Thereafter, the sheet members 12 are pulled out radially taking hole of the pulls 14 projecting outside. Thus, the assembly work is completed. |
