PURPOSE:To prevent assuredly the deflection of a tape due to the revolution inertia of a flywheel, etc. when a tape is changed to a pause mode from a constant speed drive mode with a simple constitution, by providing a control mechanism which sets rotor in a non-transmission state of revolving power in response to the operation of a tape drive stop control member. CONSTITUTION:A high-speed slider 24 is slided downward with each operation of a quick traversing control plate, a rewind control plate and a temporary stop control plate respectively. Thus a constant speed gear 19f is separated from a constant speed gear 39 via a gear control slider 43 and a gear control lever 44 to prevent the transmission of the revolving power due to the inertia of a flywheel to the gear 19f. Therefore the drive of a micro-cassette tape is stopped immediately at a time moment when a stop control plate 27 is operated. This prevent the deflection of the tape. |
