Pneumatically-actuated pressure switch for monitoring tyre pressures

A pneumatically-actuated pressure switch is provided which serves for monitoring the tyre pressure of vehicles. The pressure switch (10) comprises a switch housing (19) with a reference pressure chamber (23) which is sealed off from the tyre by means of a switching diaphragm (21) which interacts itself with a contact pin (24) as a function of the tyre pressure. The switch housing (19) is inserted into a housing capsule (11) with the elements (27 to 32, 33) of an electrical oscillating circuit to form a switch unit (18). In order reliably to prevent the switch housing (19) being thrown out of the housing capsule (11) at high speeds of revolution, an annular element (15) is inserted into the housing capsule (11) in such a way that it secures the switch housing (19) with the switching membrane (21) towards the open side of the housing capsule (11) against axial displacement in a positively engaging manner. <IMAGE>
