PURPOSE:To facilitate the transportation in a pipeline by sending high-density coal/water slurry with pressure in a pipeline previously washed by alkali solution for preventing the pipeline from choking caused by the slurry. CONSTITUTION:Since coal is provided with acid group such as carboxyl group in the surface, the slurry is acidized to eat into pipes, and accordingly, as polyvalent metal ion is melted into slurry, the viscosity of the slurry is increased to cause choking in pipes. Meanwhile, the addition of anion surface active agent at the time of production of the slurry also promotes the mixing of hydrogen ion, polyvalent ion or the like into positive ion slurry. Therefore, by filling a pipeline with alkali solution or buffer solution over 7pH to be previously washed, or adjusting the pH value of the slurry over 7, pipes and pumps are protected against corrosion and the viscosity of the slurry is prevented from increasing. |
