An assemblage of connected fasteners comprising a side member (50) comprising a row of connected paddle members (53), a second side member (51) comprising a row of connected end-bars (56), and filamentary cross-links (52). Such an assemblage is continuously moulded by delivering molten polymeric material through a platen into cavities in the periphery of a wheel as the periphery is moved past the platen. Such an assemblage is used in a dispensing apparatus or gun having a slotted hollow needle, means for advancing a fastener to the needle and means for aligning the end-bar of the fastener with the bore of the needle. <IMAGE> |
