PURPOSE:To omit a step for sticking a label after the molding, to make the appearance of a product better than that of a product on which a label has been stuck after the molding, and to prevent the label on the product from being abraded or coming off, by performing the application of a lebel on a product simultaneously with blow molding. CONSTITUTION:When molds are opened, label holders 2, 2' are moved forward in directions as shown by arrow C, C' so that the labels 5, 5' held in label magazines 4, 4' are delivered in cavities 10, 10' and sucked under vacuum to be held there. Then the label holders 2, 2' are retracted and blow molding is effected in the usual manner. The product obtained in this manner has the labels 5, 5' that is made flash with the surface of the product and whose peripheries are integrally continuous with the surface of the product, since the parison is expanded by blowing that avoids only the labels held in the cavities. Thus the appearance of the product is beautiful, and the labels can be prevented from coming off. |
