<p>PURPOSE:To reduce an angular error in specific mode at any of four positions by counting a clock signal on the basis of outputs of two rotation detecting means and forming two other position detection signals. CONSTITUTION:Rotation detecting means 11a and 11b generate signals (a) and (b) on every turn of a rotary cylinder 10. When a VTR is in special reproduction mode, a switch 16 is connected to a terminal 18, and consequently a switch 14 is closed to output the signal (c), i.e. mixture output of the signals (a) and (b) from a mixing circuit 15. This signal (c) is inputted as a reset signal to a counting circuit 20, but the circuit 20 counts up to a count value set by a special reproduction mode signal sent from the terminal 18, thereby forming position detection signals P1 and P2' by the output (a) of the means 11a, and position detection signals P3 and P4' by the output (b) of the means 11b.</p> |
