摘要 <p>The antenna system uses a large number of antenna groups covering different angular direction ranges within which the antennae are coupled in sequence to the direction finder receiver. The antenna groups are arranged in a circular arc or a full circle and are divided into a number of adjacent sub groups containing two or more antennae connected in parallel. The antenna system has the same number of search receivers as the number of direction ranges, each employing two or more antenna groups, all the search receivers having the same amplification and tuned simultaneously. The outputs of the search receivers are coupled to a comparator circuit, determining that corresponding to the direction range in which the max. signal intensity of the beacon is obtained. The direction finder receiver and a headphone receiver can then be coupled to the antennae within this direction range for obtaining a precise location.</p>
