The tool is for splitting and removing tree stumps, and has grip claws engaging the stump. The claws are connected to a carrier which acts as a support when a wedge is driven downwards vertically to split the stump. After initial splitting, the wedge continues to be driven into the stump, and is turned to separate the stump halves. The carrier is then lifted, and with it the grip claws and the stump halves. |
