A device for preparing an air void-containing mixture of a plaster with water, which has a multi-stage eccentric spiral pump, which is connected to a mixing chamber and transports the mixture, is provided with a suction line which opens directly upstream of or in the eccentric spiral pump, e.g. simply a borehole (14) in the stator of the eccentric spiral pump. The eccentric spiral pump sucks in air, especially in a first section of the length of its transport chamber, which air subsequently results in porosity in the mortar. <IMAGE>
