PURPOSE:To enable measurement to high pressure from low pressure by setting up a compensation element to the resistance wire of a pressure gage measuring pressure in a discharge tube body. CONSTITUTION:The resistance wire 18 being in contact with a mixed gas containing He is set up to one part of the discharge tube proper 2. The compensation element 19, resistance thereof increases when the currents of the resistance wire 18 increase, is connected to the resistance wire 18. Accordingly, when currents flowing through the resistance wire 18 increase, the resistance of the element 19 increases in response to the increase of currents, the resistance wire 18 is made difficult to be saturated, and high pressure can also be measured. |
