PURPOSE:To improve the maintenance performance of an unmanned device by providing a means which stores the communication statistic information including the error information, the transmission/reception frequency, etc. when the communication is discontinued transmitting a specific request signal to a device of the same structure at the remote side to transmit the statistic information stored in the device of the remote side. CONSTITUTION:A control part 4 is connected to a network control unit NCU 1 of facsimile devices connected to a circuit 5 via high-speed and low-speed MODEMs 2 and 3. Then a picture reading part 6 and a picture storage part 7 are connected to the control part 4. In addition, a memory 8 and a control data transmission request button 10 are connected to the part 4. With use of such a facsimile device, the communication statistic information including the error information, the transmission/reception frequency, the number of errors, etc. is stored in the memory 8 in case an error ends before the communication is performed completely to the remote side. Then the signal is transmitted with operation of the button 10 of the remote side device of the same constitution, and the information stored in the memory 8 is transferred. Thus the maintenance performance is improved for an unmanned device. |
